My name is Bridgette and I'm a senior at UCO. I'm majoring in Finance and
I'm so excited about graduating next Spring!
I'm from Tulsa and I miss living near my sister Brittany. Brittany is planning
on coming to UCO in the fall and I hope she does so I can see her more often. I also have a brother and a sister-in-law
and a mom and dad. Sometimes I miss my family, but I love the college life and living on my own. Edmond is a great city
because everything I need is very close and it has many of the same shops and restaurants as a larger city. We've got
more Wal-Marts than we know what to do with and Pier 1 and SuperTarget!
Spare time is a rare occurance with work and studying, but I like to hang
out with my friends and fall asleep watching a movie. My friends and I love to go get sno cones and hang out at the pool on
Saturdays. We also like the usual girl things like shopping (especially for shoes), giving ourselves facials, and having
slumber parties. No one is ever to old for a slumber party!
My long-time best friend, Danielle, recently got married in Jamaica.
I got to go there with her and experience the trip of a lifetime. No
problem, mon! Danielle and I grew up together and we've literally
been friends our entire lives.
After graduating next spring, I plan on moving back to Tulsa. I'm
not exactly sure what I want to do yet, but the Finance field is very broad. Financial planning sounds like something
that I might be interest in doing.
Here's a warning to incoming Freshmen- you have to read in college and buy things that aren't
fun like toilet paper and toothpaste :(
